Hello, I'm John McLean

I am originally from Adelaide, Australia, however in 1999, I moved to the United Kingdom, where I had the privilege of attending Lancing College in Sussex. My educational journey continued as I pursued my passion for understanding our world, studying Geography and International Relations at Oxford Brookes University.

One of my greatest passions is travel. It has not only broadened my horizons but also allowed me to connect with diverse cultures and experiences. My adventures have taken me to numerous corners of the globe, including a transformative year in New Zealand, where I had the incredible opportunity to work at Scots College in Wellington.

In 2013, I decided to change once again and move to the charming region of Umbria, Italy. Here, I've been fortunate to engage in the field of English and Education, which has taken me on a rewarding journey thus far.
